Soon To Come



I recently acquired lots of new Memory Box dies however we're still settling into our new house so it may be a while before I can create and post some things. I figured I'd give you a peek at what I've got and what's to come.

Her shirt is actually stamped seperately, colored with 3 different Copics in a plaid pattern, and then cut out and adhered to the rest of her body.



This is the Frostyville Border from Memory Box, I love it! It's so detailed and cuts so easily it's wonderful. And I think the mirrorcard makes it look amazing.

So I haven't had time to create lately however, I've been updating the design of my blog. So check out the new features.

That means that these are sites that I visit for reference, ideas, and updates. And the envy part refers to the fact that the more I look at these blogs and company websites, the more I wish I could have!

Halloween in January

I made these for halloween this past year but the pictures never made it onto the blog.

These were the easiest cards I think I've ever made: All I had to do was cut the paper to fit my card. For the second card: same thing except I also cut out some bottles from the first paper.

Sorry i havent posted lately but i am in the process of packing and buying and preparing to move. I'll see what i can do but i may not be able to have anything new until February after the move.

Bottle Memos

Planning on giving someone a bottle of wine, sparkling cider, or something else in a bottle?

This is a quick and easy way to dress them up.

Just cut a rectangle big enough to cover the width of the bottle down as far as you want the bottom of the tag to reach. Then score the top third of the paper and cut a circle out of that big enough to go over the top of the bottle and sit where the bottle begins to widem. Cut out 2 rosettes using TH mini rosettes dies, glue together, and add pearl accent. Cut out a rectangle to fit the inside of the bottom half of the tag with coordinating paper, and then one slightly smaller to fit inside of that. Give them fishtails. Stamp a sentiment on CS and cut out and emboss using SB Ribbon Banners. Glue all together as you see and add Pearl Accents.

The rosettes take the most time in this project, otherwise it's super quick!

(PS This was supposed to be posted like a week before Christmas but apparently the computer didn't want to cooperate. It's still a great idea for next year or any other occasion besides Chritmas.)

This die is called "Flowering Christmas Tree"

I used it with metallic black CS and textweight, embossed with CB Kassie's Brocade embossing folder.

The card on the right has some ribbon thrown around the bottom and Liquid Pearls in the center of each flower.

The card on the right also has silver mirrorcard embossed.

Just take clear plastic ornaments, Susan Louise acetates, a Spellbinders circle, and some fake snow or white Flower Soft and you have an easy ornament!
