This is a thank you card I sent to my new aunt and uncle thanking them for our wedding gift. It's one of a few that I made similiar. I used Pebbles Family Ties line "Mother" for the yellow and the butterfly paper is BoBunny Country Garden "Country Garden Glimpse", White Opal Liquid Pearls, Spellbinders Large Standard Circles, and Just Rite "Just a Note" 1-5/8 borders and centers stamp set.

Bottle Memos
Planning on giving someone a bottle of wine, sparkling cider, or something else in a bottle?
This is a quick and easy way to dress them up.
Just cut a rectangle big enough to cover the width of the bottle down as far as you want the bottom of the tag to reach. Then score the top third of the paper and cut a circle out of that big enough to go over the top of the bottle and sit where the bottle begins to widem. Cut out 2 rosettes using TH mini rosettes dies, glue together, and add pearl accent. Cut out a rectangle to fit the inside of the bottom half of the tag with coordinating paper, and then one slightly smaller to fit inside of that. Give them fishtails. Stamp a sentiment on CS and cut out and emboss using SB Ribbon Banners. Glue all together as you see and add Pearl Accents.
The rosettes take the most time in this project, otherwise it's super quick!
This idea can also be found at http://limescraparitawithatwist.blogspot.com/ on Dawn W.'s blog
(PS This was supposed to be posted like a week before Christmas but apparently the computer didn't want to cooperate. It's still a great idea for next year or any other occasion besides Chritmas.)

Fab 5- Day 3 BLING
BLING
For a while, bling was a dirty word in my vocabulary, at least when it came to cardmaking. I am called the distressed girl after all, and how can you use bling and distressing in your creations?! I asked myself this question and found the answer and I LOVE IT! :)
I was so pleased with how bling blended into my creations I had to made two cards!

Pink Bunnies

In LOVE!!!! :)
Graphic 45 FINALLY has stamps out that match their paper collections! The one I bought goes along with their "Once Upon a Springtime" Collection. Each stamp set has 3 to 4 cling stamps for an inexpensive price. They'd be worth it even if they weren't though. There's a few different stamp packs for each line of paper, but they're going extremely fast at Picture This. Hopefully we'll be seeing more of these sets around though because I'd personally love to get more from the other collections.

g45 Stamps

Dream in Color
Dream in Color! Or hope in color, love in color, whatever saying you want to put onto that tag, do it in color. This is a super easy way to brighten up a card when you don't know what more it needs. Emboss your Spellbinders and blend some ink onto them to make them pop. I added some roses in the background to give a little more interest to the card.

Graphic Photo Album
I recently did this chipboard photo album as a class at Picture This. Using lots of Graphic 45 paper, Walnut Stain and Vintage Photo Tim Holtz Distress Inks, EK Success Scalloped Edge Punch, Sizzix Tattered Floral Die, Metallic Brads, Large Pearls, Twine, and about a yard of lace I created a cute vintage album to display your favorite photos in.

A Vintage Valentine
Supplies:
Core-dinations (brown)
G45 Wedding
Tim Holtz Seasonal Paper (Valentines Day)
Spellbinders Pendant
Spellbinders Fancy Tags
Tim Holtz Memo Pin
Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress Ink
Pearls
White/Off-white/Brown Buttons
Red CS
Scrap Paper (any color you want) for the flowers
Techniques:
For the flowers, just cut a circular shape (it doesn't have to be perfect at all) out of your scrap paper, between 1.5-2.5" in diameter. Begin cutting a spiral out of the circle until you reach the middle of the circle; you can cut off the ball the ends up on the end of the spiral so that you end up with a point at the end. Curl the paper in on itself from the center of the spiral to the outside. Curl into the side of the paper that you want the flower to end up being. Have the one you don't want shown on the outside. You can keep it curled tight or not if you choose; the tighter the curling, the smaller the flower may end up. After you've curled to the middle, let the flower unravel until you think it's a good size for your project. Smash the flower with a flat-bottomed jar or something of the sort. I like to put a little glue at the end of the flower so that it doesn't continue to unravel before it's on your project. Apply to project!

Happy Vday!
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY. Only a little bit early...Both of these cards are mini cards meant for a quick note for Vday. They stand about 3x4". The second one opens up after you untie the ribbon to say Happy Valentines Day hidden beneath the polka dotted paper.

Tags Galore
These are some tags that I recently made. All of them have something Graphic 45 on them. A little edge punching here, some ink distressing there, and a flower plopped somewhere near the edge; add some pretty ribbon through the hole on the top and you have yourself a beautiful tag.
But I have a dilemma. I love to make tags, but I don't know what to do with them. Paula suggested to hang them up in the store in our Tim Holtz corner on that branch that's hanging from the ceiling to show off. What do you think?
