Wine Bottles Signs

For the craft fair that my mom is in in April, she wanted me to make some signs for her. Here's what I came up with for what she wanted them to say. I think they turned out pretty cute myself. All I need to finish them it to wrap twine around the bottles (and polish off two more wine bottles!).

Variety of ABC stamps
Judith Flower Stamp E-68
"Gift" and "Flower" stamp I purchased from the Annual PT Thrift Sale (which is coming up soon! April 27th)
Spellbinders Lg Scalloped Circles & Labels 20
Copic Markers (to color in the flowers)
Ribbon (attached to the back of each sign to tie around the bottle

What's the Buzzz?

So eons ago I colored this image with my Copic markers and I was going through my projects and found the image. I have about 5 of them total stamped out (with the saying as well) in on of my project boxes. Obviously this was another one of those projects that I started and intended to finish but hadn't gotten around to it yet. It's been months, probably closer to a year, since I've had this image in my bin waiting to make use of itself.

Well! It's got use now. At least one of the 5 images does...I'll have to get around to coloring the other ones and then turning them into something spectacular.

If you'd like to make the Beehive card this is what you'll need:

Copic Markers (Y35, B39, C00, C2, YG63, E00, E23)
Spellbinders Nested Lacey Pennants & Labels 18
Martha Stewart "Daisy" Punch
MME PB&J "Sunny Day"
Paper Flowers

I apologize for the fact that I don't know what the stamps are from. They do go together, they're from the same company and came out at the same time. I want to say Great Impressions but I won't commit to that.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you've been inspired!

Candy Sign

CANDY ANYONE?

I have had these popsicle stick fence pieces in the drawer in my crafting desk for at least four years from when my younger brother and I used to craft together. All we ever finished from the project was hot glueing the popsicle sticks together to make fence pieces. We also made a gate out of one of them (the C) by putting a drawer handle on it to look like a door handle and then glueing a popsicle stick diagonally onto the piece.

Anyway, I nailed them all together and cut out some pennants and made a Halloween sign out of them! :)

Hot Glue

Happy Anniversary!

It took me two and a half hours to make this banner, but it was worth it to see the joy it brought to the faces of my soon to be in-laws.

An Edward Christmas

This past weekend I really wanted to get some crafting done after work, but I hadn't bought anything new from the store so I dug around in some of the bags of paper and projects that I have laying around and made a bunch of cards, mostly with old Christmas paper. But it was still a ton of fun. I made a ton of cards and got rid of a lot of old paper that had only been used for one card.

Here's one card I made.

The boy is Greeting Farm (Edward Cullen)
I think that the paper is a Christmas piece from MME, not sure on the polka dot
The snowflake is a Spellbinders snowflake from a variety pack

Edward was colored with Copics:
E00 for his skin
E23 and E25 for his pants
YG63 for his shirt, layered on top of itself for texture
B39 and C10 for his hair
C10 for the black parts of his green shirt
(Also, I used C2 for his shirt underneath)

HONEY. .. .

This was a birthday card for my honey Shane.

I used the McRice Medley Out West (the bear), MME miss caroline collection for the background, Judith stub stamp for the honey  jar, and Copic markers to color it in.

There's a show on Comedy Central called "Workaholics" the loves and one episode there were bear puns on the show. The inside of the card highlights one of those puns.

(If you're interested in the pun, here's a link to that episode but viewer discretion is advised.)

You Make My [Frosty] World Happy

I got to play with new toys today!!! So exciting!

SB Labels 20
Memory Box Die "Frostyville Border"
My Favorite Things "Being Cute Is What I Do" clear stamp
Copics
POW! Glitter Paper
Silver Mirrorcard
MME Paper (background)

Her shirt is actually stamped seperately, colored with 3 different Copics in a plaid pattern, and then cut out and adhered to the rest of her body.

This is the Frostyville Border from Memory Box, I love it! It's so detailed and cuts so easily it's wonderful. And I think the mirrorcard makes it look amazing.

Fab 5 Day 1- Judith

Judith
Yes, Judith again. You know you  love her.

Day 1 is a super simple Christmas card.

And another piece of white cardstock to 5.25x4"; stamp Judith "In the Winter We Can Build a Snowman" stamp with black ink and color with Copics, emboss this piece with Tim Holtz/Sizzix Snowman Embossing Folder, and distress the edges with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distress Ink. Stamp the inside with Judith "Merry Christmas" stamp in black ink.

Super easy Christmas card made in less than 5 minutes. Seriously.

Fab 5- Day 1 Judith

Ah...Judith. We meet again. Only this time it is colder, therefore a season appropriate card is to be desired. Large Stubbies from your collection are the perfect thing to add a touch of fall and halloween to a card, in this case I used Oak Leaf, Bat, Spider, and Frog. I colored them in with Copic Markers, and for the inside of the card there's a "Happy Halloween" Stamp that's perfect.

That time of the year

That's right. It's that time of year again, when school is ending and you have to be the main caregiver for your children again. :/ Dang! So to show the teachers how much you appreciate the fact that they watch over your kids 8 hours a days most of the year, why not give them a homemade card?

A little House Mouse, a little LilyBee, a little Amuse and some school paper for the background. Color it all in and add some ribbon and you've got yourself a card fit for a teacher! Let them enjoy!

All of the paper on this tag in Graphic 45, the tickets and peacock feathers are from one of their newest collections: Curtain Call. The flowers are from a Tim Holtz/Sizzix Die and I distressed the edges with black ink. Tag is Fancy tags distressed with TH "Vintage Photo". "Cheeky Beauty" is the Greeting Farm Stamp that I used for this and she's colored with a variety of Copics.

Fab 5 Day 5- March

Day 5! The last day of Fab 5. I hope that you've enjoyed my monkey cards this week.
I now leave you with a modge-podge card for Day 5. I threw a lot of different ideas around with this one and settled on what I've got now. I thought it'd be a nice Mother's Day card. Add something like "Thank You Mom for all you do. We love you. Happy Mother's Day" on the inside of the card. Since it seems like moms always get stuck cleaning.

Or if you have a maid you could give it to her.

Supplies:
Changito Monkey
Copics
Spellbinders Labels Four and Ribbon Tag Trio
Judith Stubby "Thanks"
G45 border
GCD "Whoop De Doo" Collection

Fab 5 Day 4- March

I really like how these monkeys turned out. I think that the blues and green work really well with browns when it comes to Changito Monkeys and Copics. A saying like "Safe Travels" should go inside of this card. I think it'd be well suited for a kind of good bye card.

Supplies:
Changito Monkey
Copics
Scenic Route Paper
Green Checkered Ribbon
Green Brads
