That time of the year

That's right. It's that time of year again, when school is ending and you have to be the main caregiver for your children again. :/ Dang! So to show the teachers how much you appreciate the fact that they watch over your kids 8 hours a days most of the year, why not give them a homemade card?

A little House Mouse, a little LilyBee, a little Amuse and some school paper for the background. Color it all in and add some ribbon and you've got yourself a card fit for a teacher! Let them enjoy!

Fab 5 Day 5- February

The last day of House Mouse, and he sure is a tired little guy.
I was running out of ideas but then I thought, why not make something that reflects how I feel? So...I made a door hanger out of this House Mouse. Complete with "DO NOT DISTURB" and fluffy ribbon to look like clouds, this door hanger screams "relaxation".

Supplies:
House Mouse Stamp
Copics
Alphabet Stamp Set
MME Penny Lane Paper
Mauve Ribbon
Puffball Ribbon

Fab 5 Day 4- February

Isn't he just the cutest?! This guy reminded me of Christmas at first glance but I wanted to get away from the Christmas feel as I continue to long for warmer days and less snow. So I colored him a warm orange color stuck right into a cool green (very un-Christmasy) and tried to make this card more floral looking.

Supplies:
House Mouse Stamp
CB embossing folder (tiny mosaic tiles)
Spellbinders "Lacey Circles"
sheer, polka dot ribbon

Fab 5 Day 3- February

"Doo-Doo-Doo-Doooo!!!"
Ah-nouncing yet another House Mouse Stamp.
This little guy is a musician of the flower trumpeter sort.
The inside of the card reads "You Rock!".
Use MME "Tres Jolie" Paper, warm colored Copics, "Victorian Vevet" Tim Holtz Distress Ink, and Spellbinders "Labels Four" to make the shadow-box effect.

Fab 5 Day 2- February

The first day of Fab 5 reminded me of Spring, and this one reminds me of Summer; I think I'm over this cold weather and snow and I'm ready for some heat! Lots of Copics again and a sun-shiney outlook on life is what it took to make this card. Add some My Minds Eye "Lost & Found" paper and ribbon and you've got summertime on a card.

Fab 5 Day 1- February

For the first day of Fab 5 in February (and my official first day as a Fab. Five-r) I did this cute card that makes me think of springtime.
It's a House Mouse stamp of a cute little hedgehog and a flutterby colored in with lots of Copics!
