Cathedral

This is a picture that was taken in downtown Eau Claire. It's a beautiful building and I think works great as  a sympathy card or something religious like baptism, Easter, or communion.

Feeling Squirrelly

I love the fact that the birch tree in this squirrel picture looks just like the birch bark paper I used for the background. Most of all I just love this squirrel. He takes the show for the whole card. You could add a sentiment inside: Feeling nutty? Aw, nuts I forgot your birthday. Feeling squirrelly?

Tiger Bark

So a couple of months ago Picture This received exclusive paper from McRice papers. We are the only store that will ever carry it and it was a one time print. The paper is one of McRice's Medley papers with photos taken by the girls from PT: the PT Posse. Its compiled of all local pictures. Downtown, the zoo, farms, etc. Here's one of the cards that I made with our exclusive paper.

Craft Room Facelift

A facelift. Yup, that's what I'm calling it. Ever since my "sister in law" moved her scrapbook supplies into my scrap room, it's been a little bit on the messy side. Last weekend I kind straightened  up a little. And when I was done straightening I still thought that it looked a little..."blah". So I put up a couple of Command hooks, tied some thick twine around both of them, and added clothespins. Then I found some tags I had made a few years ago and hung those up. They didn't fill up the space so I found a couple more charms and such to add in between the tags and I love how it turned out!! Craft room facelift!!

Ribbon Organization

A while ago on Pinterest, I found a page the showed you how to organize with items from the dollar store and on one of the pages of the post there was a picture of ribbon tidbits wrapped around clothespins and hung on a hanger. You can find that here. Well I have far too many ribbon tidbits to hang on a hanger so I used a jar instead. I bought me some clothespins from the dollar store and wrapped  my ribbon and put it in a clear jar. So now I don't have to dig and get things all tangled when I'm looking for a piece of ribbon. And it's very pretty looking.

This is what my ribbon looked like before, in a big Ziploc gallon bag, some inside of other small plastic bags, all a huge mess!

And here's what it looks like after all of the ribbon wrapping. It's so much prettier! I just love it.

I hope this post gives you inspiration to start organizing your craft room if it is in need. Also, look through that entire post from the link above, it is full of fantastic and cheap ways to organize! Or just keep pinning! I always find amazing things on Pinterest for organization.

Thanks for stopping by today!
