Once Upon A Springtime

The new G45 paper line is amazingly cute! It's called Once Upon A Springtime and it's all a about fairies. All the paper is double-sided so it coordinates really well, I didn't even  have to look for something to match.

supplies:
g45 "Once Upon a Springtime" (fairy & b/g green floral)
Spellbinder "Lacey Circles" & "Elegant Tag" Dies
CB Organic Flourish Edge Folders
sparkly green ribbon
saying stamp "kind thoughts" & "fill your heart with sunshine and your heart with love" (for the inside)

Fairies Galore!

The G45 paper is genius! It's not just Vintage anymore, it's super cute fairies! Use the new G45 line "Once Upon A Springtime" paper for the fairies (2 different sheets for the center fairies and postage stamp fairies) (and 2 others for the inside: pink flowers and floating fairies) , Lacey Circles Die & Standard Circles Die, green ribbon, and CB embossing folder Shell Collage. Thread the ribbon through the Lacey Circle after you've cut it out of tan CS and adhered the fairies cut out from the Circles Die onto the center of it. Thread evenly so that  you can tie the end of the ribbon together and leave excess to hang off the card. The inside also contains the g45 paper on one side and a strip of tan edge punch with Ek Success Scalloped Edge Punch, & a tan Lacey Circle with pink flowers cut out with a Circle Die from another g45 fairy paper in the center.

A Danish Christmas

I made sooo many variations of this card because I loved it so much. They all have to same layout, but the picture is different for each one because I used the Graphic 45 Christmas Paper that looks like post cards so you can cut each out and slap it on a card easy as that. I used decorative edged scissors to cut them out, CB tag die, and CB Organic Flourish Border Set for the Coredinations Paper.

Ornamental

I made these cute little ornaments on the cards with the CB tag die. Very simple.

Brother & Sister

Supplies:
MME "Dreamy 2" Flower Paper
Basic Gray Paper (Green: backside has Christmas trees)
Spellbinders Large Scalloped Circles (Flower)
Spellbinders Labels Four (Flower Leaves)
Martha Stewart Edge Punch
Green Beads, Eye Pins, Hole Punch

This layout is simple to do but it was a little bit time consuming. The flower is just two different orange-y colors cut out from the Spellbinders Scalloped Circles, going one size smaller with each new layer. The leaves are cut out of green CS with Spellbinders Labels 4, the two smallest dies, and layered beneath the flower. I punched a hole in the center of the top flower.

The beads dangling beneath the pictures were placed on eye pins (for jewelry) and using a pliers like tool, make a loop on the other end of the pin that goes through the hole punched in the photo mats. Do this six times.
Note: Make sure that you've pop-dotted the pictures or the beads won't hang correctly.

CB embossing folder "Scrollwork"
Spellbinders Classic Oval & Scalloped Oval Dies
Tim Holtz Walnut Stain Distress Ink
A Cute Snowman Stamp (about 3")
Brown Flowers

G-G-G-Golfing

This album is intended for my older brother John-the golf enthusiast. He golfs like every day of his life. No matter the weather. As long as the courses are open. The boy went to Texas to go golfing. And yet...the only picture that I have of him golfing is from the newspaper when he won some tournament in Menomonie or something. So...it has yet to be filled due to lack of pictures to fill it with.

Travel Album

I recently went to Chicago with a couple of friends and got this really great idea to make an album for them with g45 paper. It's all distressed and "old-looking" says my friend who couldn't believe when she saw that it was done that I had just made this, and it hadn't been sitting around for years aging in the attic. I've been trying to introduce her to card making but she just won't take to the techniques.

Anyway...the book turned out super cute I think and is really fitting for everything that we did. I <3 G45 for that versatility.
There's a travel section...
A "sights" section...
A shopping section...
And a BEACH section...

See?
Supercute!

Oh! Baby

These cards were made because I found some scraps of baby paper in my stash and I just got  my Cuttlebug and needed to try out the little embossing squares that came with it.
Along with the CB  baby carriage and baby paper scraps, I used Light Spring Green CS, CB embossing Folder "Swiss Dots", and Spellbinders Labels One or Spellbinders Scalloped Squares and scrap ribbon (cream/white).

Debutante

I have no idea where I got any of the things used in this card. It all came out of my stash. But it was fun to make and I don't know what it will be for but the chandelier paper is shimmery!

For my brother

Using Graphic 45 paper (A Perfect Gentleman's Collection), I made this simple card with the intention of giving it to my older brother who is an avid gold enthusiast. It never made it to him even though I got it done before his birthday. I guess I'll save it for next year.

Fab 5 in July

This card was made for the Fab 5 (Plus 1) in July at Picture This when our product theme was Spellbinders Pendants. I used the pendants for the flowers, a CB embossing piece for the champagne glasses from the wedding set, and the CB embossing folder from the Combo Damask Frame for the background. I distressed all of the edges and the champagne glasses.

The second card was for a Make-n-Take in July. I also used the CB Combo Damask Frame for this card. I embossed the red piece of cardstock with the embossing folder from this set. I used Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Ovals, nested, for the middle of the card. The flower on top of the card is the die that was included in the CB Combo set. The blue background paper is My Minds Eye.

Time

The Hero Arts Trunk Show is coming to Picture This! Both of these cards are samples for the trunk show; the clock stamp on both is Hero Arts. For the first one, I made a Christmas themed card that reads "As another year flies by..." "Take time to be with the ones you love" "Merry Christmas." I used red and cream CS, "Jovial" Basic Gray striped paper, "Walnut Stain" and "Vintage Photo" Distress Inks, two pearls, red and white striped ribbon, and the Clock Hero Arts Stamp along with those 3 saying stamps.
For the second card I used "light chocolate malt" CS, "Capella" Basic Gray Paper, twine, Distress Ink, the clock "Hero Arts" stamp, and another stamp saying "take time to be with the ones you love" for the inside.
